A "convenient" location off I-74 and "proximity to the campus" of the University of Illinois are big draws for this "newly updated" five-story property that's "less than a five-minute drive" from "numerous restaurants"; "attractive grounds" and a "big, open atrium" with a "glass roof and water fountains" provide pleasant settings to "have a drink, eat or just hang out", but while there's "nothing wrong with the place", surveyors say "there isn't anything special either."

Great quality hotel. The bed was great!
Bathroom was a bit dated-but it was very clean.
I will be staying at the Holiday Inn in the future. The bed was so comfortable - I had a great night sleep. I liked that there was a station for coffee, hot water, and microwave.
